Video Converter App Supported Input Video Sources
Video Converter App allows you to import video files from various sources, including iPhone/iPad/iPod touch Camera Roll/Photo Library, computer (Windows/Mac), Microsoft SkyDrive, Dropbox, and even “Open in…” from other apps. In this post, let’s take a look at them one by one.
To import video files, tap the “+” button in the top left corner.
Tap Camera Roll, and you can select any video clips from your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch Camera Roll/Photo Library and put them into the conversion queue. This option is mainly for video compression purpose.
The iTunes File Sharing and Wi-Fi Upload are two different ways to import video files stored in your computer (Windows/Mac) hard drive. If the video size is very big, it is recommended transferring videos via iTunes File Sharing for faster speed.
Tap Dropbox, and you will be directed to the Dropbox app (if installed). Then you will need to allow Video Converter App to have access to your Dropbox files. Tap Allow, and you can choose the video files in your Dropbox account for converting and playing on your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
Tap Microsoft SkyDrive, and you will be directed to the log in to your Mircrosft account and let Video Converter App have access to your SkyDrive files.
Tap Yes and then choose to download the video files in your SkyDrive account for converting and playing on your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
If you do not want Video Converter App rememeber your Dropbox/SkyDrive login info, you can remove it by going to the More… tab and tapping Sign out (Sign out Dropbox, SkyDrive).
You can also “Open in…” video files from other apps (like email attachments) and load them into Video Converter App for conversion and playback on your device.
