I have a lot of MP3 files saved on my computer and want to put them on my iPhone 4S. Is this possible and if it is, how do I do it.

So long as your MP3 files are DRM free, you can have them added to your iPhone easily. You only need iTunes to get it done.

Follow the steps below to add MP3 files to your iPhone with iTunes:

1. Connect your iPhone and your computer via a USB cable

2. Open iTunes

3. Add MP3 files to iTunes library

Click File -> Add File to Library… or File -> Add Folder to Library… to browse the MP3 files in your computer, and select and add them to your iTunes library. Or you can simply drag and drop the MP3 files onto the library.

4. Sync MP3 files to iPhone

Note: Before syncing the MP3 files to your iPhone, it is recommended doing the following:

• Click your device name
• Go to Summary, and
• Tick Manually manage music and videos under the Options panel.

By ticking this option, the songs previously transferred to your iPhone won’t be deleted or replaced after the sync.

Then drag and drop the newly added MP3 files from your iTunes library to your iPhone.

Done.
